The Nesvika Energihus combine use of active and passive solar energy, and were built with support from the Norwegian Research Council. The houses stand right at the shoreline with a view of the pier. Each of them has its own terrace with a sheltered sitting area, fountain, grill and smoke oven for fish.

NB: If you order bed linen from us, you will also receive a kitchen towel and a cloth. Otherwise, you need to bring these items with you.

Highlights

In the cottages by the fjord we have incorporated influences from cultural impressions and world travel experiences. We have chosen three themes from three different continents. We hope, in this way, to share our respect and appreciation for diversity in the world we live in.

The Japanese house in Nesvika conveys a meditative atmosphere. It emphasises pure, natural materials and the simple and disciplined lifestyle in rural Japan. Martial arts, geishas and cherry blossoms are examples of elements from Japanese culture that are represented in the house.
